After establishing a track record in mounting world-class beauty pageants over the last decade, Carousel Productions Inc. decided to reinvent and improve the concept of beauty competitions for the new millennium.
Because many people admired and aspired to be a beauty queen, Carousel believed beauty queens would be a good and effective advocate of worthy causes.
To give life to this vision, Carousel organized and launched in 2001 the MISS EARTH Beauty Pageant.
Eligibility Requirements
Here is the basic rules that must be met to enter the pageant:
- › Are between the ages 18 and 26 (as of Miss Earth pageant date).
- › At least 1,65m in length.
- › Never been married.
- › Have no children.
- › Able to travel during the Miss Earth pageant.
The winner will represent Sweden in the international final at the hostnation. She flys and lives for free and competes under a 3 week period.
Rules of Entry
All contestants agree:
- › To conduct herself properly at all times.
- › To cooperate, obey and comply at all times with the rules and regulation of Miss Earth Sweden.
- › To allow Miss Earth Sweden to use or take her photographs and videos for the purpose of publicity and promotions of Miss Earth Sweden.
About Roberto Strindstedt
My name is Roberto Strindstedt and I'm responsible for the Miss Earth Sweden franchise. We send a representative each year to the international pageant Miss Earth. The pageant itself has been around since the year 2000 and has grown to become the third largest pageant of the world.
I've worked with fashion for almost 16 years. I'm currently in charge of a modeling agency.
Calvin Klein, Versace, Yves Saint Lauren and Dolce Gabbana are just some of the designers I've had the privilege to work with.
